Dibenzoxazolic acid is a safety agent developed by Aventis. After Aventis was acquired by Bayer in 2002, Bayer mainly applied dibenzoxazolic acid to herbicides in corn fields and rice fields, including nicosulfuron, sulfone sulfuron, formamide sulfuron, cyclosulfone and benzoxazolium. In 2013, Bayer authorized DuPont to use dibenzoxazolic acid as a safety agent for sulfonylurea corn field herbicides, mainly sulfonsulfuron and nicosulfuron.
Bayer, DuPont and other companies have developed a series of herbicide varieties with dibenzoxazolic acid as a safety agent, in which the ratio of dibenzoxazolic acid and nimosulfuron is 1:4, the ratio of sulfone and sulfone is 1:2, the ratio of formamide sulfone is 1:1, and the ratio of cyclosulfone is 1:2.
